I know that I'm not spending right now for the exact reason you said... what if I need it one day because I no longer have a job; how will I make my car payment?
I agree that the media is a huge source of what is wrong with our economy right now... stop talking about it and people will forget about it - at least for a bit [example: when the tabloids stopped talking about Paris Hilton, no one noticed and forgot about her]. If you put fear in peoples minds, they will hold on to it [example: there have been multiple rapes in a certain area of town, no one will go to that area anymore].
We need to start saying it will be okay, and we will pull through this... because we will. Hopefully everyone will be a lot less greedy afterwards because of it. I think it was necessary, but now we need to move forward, as a country.

A company in Northern Minnesota closed for 3 months and laid off all the workers, but assured everyone they would have their jobs back, it made the news as: Company closes doors for 3 months, thousands out of a job. Do you think it made the news AT ALL when the company and those thousands were working again? Nope... not even a mention!

It's not our fault... it's the media!

How can we, as a blogging community, come together and fix this?Anghttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14939189031707381114noreply@blogger.com
